The Beach Houses
Beach House #1
Marrawah Beach House 1 is a classic, self-contained "Tassie beach shack" that offers a rugged and authentic coastal escape on the edge of the Tarkine wilderness. Situated on rolling farmland that hugs the shoreline, the house features sweeping, uninterrupted views of the Southern Ocean, Ann Bay, and Green Point Beach. Designed for those looking to unplug, this "low-tech" retreat swaps Wi-Fi and television for a collection of books, magazines, and board games, making it an ideal hideaway for a quiet romantic break or time away with the kids. The two-bedroom cottage includes an open-plan living area and kitchen that look directly out over the paddocks to the sea, providing a front-row seat to Tasmania’s wild west coast weather and local wildlife like Fairy Wrens and wallaby’s.

"A little slice of paradise on the edge of the world Marrawah is one of those places that stops you in your tracks, and this bungalow does it full justice. The location is absolutely perfect — you couldn't ask for better access to one of Tasmania's most wild and beautiful coastlines. The view is something truly special. The bungalow itself was spotlessly clean and really comfortable — a lovely mix of simplicity and everything you actually need. Privacy was excellent; we really felt like we had our own little corner of the world out there. Would return without hesitation. Highly recommend to anyone looking to properly unwind on Tasmania's stunning northwest coast."
